Increasing Psychic Energy in the Throat
Attunement of 3 Sacred Centers Leads to Cosmic Consciousness

The Rosicrucians believe that the throat center, focused in the thyroid, is the last step in the attunement of the 3 sacred centers. Exercises for the throat center should not be attempted until one has achieved at least a partial development of the heart center and the head center.
Increasing Psychic Energy in the Throat
1. Sit with feet flat on the floor, spine and head erect.
2. Visualize thyroid surrounded by bright orange light.
3. Repeat in full voice: THO-THO-RAMA-THO.
4. Intone THO on F sharp above middle C and RAMA on A natural above middle C.
5. Repeat chant 5 times once a day.
With consistent practice, one begins to notice signs of increasing psychic energy or higher psychic development:
a) awareness of feelings and thoughts of others
b) hearing of clear and audible voice from higher self.
At this point, proceed to the following exercise to speed up the attunement of the 3 sacred centers.
Attunement of the 3 Sacred Centers
Part 1.
1. Sit with spine and head erect.
2. Bathe heart center in pink cloud, as one inhales to the count of 7, holds for a count of 10.
3. Enclose head center within pink cloud, as one exhales to the count of 7, holds breath for 10 counts while one sees pink cloud expanding and embracing one's entire body.
Part 2
1. See blue light at throat center and inhale to the count of 7.
2. Expand blue cloud to head center as one counts to 10.
3. Exhale to the count of 17, keeping cloud in place.
4. Hold breath for a count of 10; see blue cloud extending and enveloping one's whole body.
Part 3
1. Surround pituitary gland with white light as one inhales to count of 7.
2. Hold breath for count of 10 as one embraces pituitary and pineal gland areas with the white cloud.
3. Release breath to the count of 7 while holding head center within brilliant white light.
4. Hold breath for a count of 10 while seeing the white light enclose one's entire body, extending all around the body to a distance of 2-3 feet.
5. Chant AUM 3 times.
5. Arise immediately dispelling all thoughts of exercise.
Signs of Cosmic Consciousness
When all 3 sacred sites are attuned, one begins to notice signs of cosmic consciousness. Some of the signs of cosmic consciousness include the following:
a) awareness of new inner vibration
b) requiring less sleep
c) high, almost limitless energy
d) loss of capacity for harsh or unkind words
e) ability to participate in other dimensions
f) increase in sense of compassion for others.
Developing the psychic energy of all 3 sacred centers will transform man into an enlightened human being who moves beyond polarity to embrace the wholeness of the physical and psychic, the visible and the invisible.
