Tips on Using Energy, Intention, Faith, and Action for FS Practice
Now that you've done Feng Shui, make it work using energy, intention, your beliefs, faith and of course your actions and watch for those opportunities.
If you’ve made some Feng Shui changes in your life but haven’t yet noticed a difference, read on. It is not just about the changes we make in Feng Shui that create what we are looking for, other things come into play and if they haven’t been explained to you, you’re likely not getting back what you expected.
Like acupuncture, amma therapy or many other forms of Chinese Medicine, we must remember we are working with Energy. The energy in our bodies, the energy of our minds and certainly the energy of our surroundings. We are all energy and we are all surrounded by energy and it is important not only to remember that but to focus on it. We are all beings of light and our surroundings have a deep and profound impact on our lives. This is one of the reasons many cultures have been so respectful of the land in history. The Native Americans knew this, they honored the land and built around it and into it so as not to disturb this. Certainly China for over five thousand years built first their burial sites and then their homes and businesses to fit the land. In Taiwan, Tibet, India they were all conscious of the land to build in harmony having realized the effect this would have on their lives.
How did they know all this? It is doubtful one from each country got together and made some kind of pact. We need to go far back and see that so many places and so many cultures already knew about energy. And with that, wholistic health. As Dr. Oz said on Oprah today, we now have (finally!) a Global health care system; and more then that, a system that works.
When we are in tune with Universal thoughts such as these, we are more mindful. These are all components of Feng Shui, the Intention we put into the changes from our minds, our thoughts, the knowing that it WILL happen and that Feng Shui is a process and must have time to work. Expecting overnight results (which sometimes happens but of course there is no way to tell) and then getting discouraged when we don’t get them turns our thinking downward again. We lose our motivation, our positive energy, and all the things we need to get Feng Shui into action.
It is important to believe in the process. Faith, in anything, is a very powerful thing. Faith in your God, faith in the universe, faith in Feng Shui is the keys to true success. And taking action at the appropriate time.
Opportunities present themselves to us, things come our way and they do that for a reason. Think long and hard before you turn something down while you’re in the process of Feng Shui, it is likely that person or thing presented itself to you for a reason you don’t yet see or understand. And not a good idea to turn things down without truly contemplating it first.
Remember that when sometimes unexpected opportunities do arise, it is time for us to take action. Oftentimes we don't believe it will become anything "important" and we may miss significant other choices because we have rejected meeting people we were supposed to meet who perhaps would have led us in a new direction or given us a different thought process and ways of perceiving things we had not yet thought of. Everything presents itself for a reason.
Remembering the basic principles of Feng Shui as you go through your life on a day to day basis can help bring you back to where you are supposed to be. Since it is such a different thought process then we have been brought up to believe, we will often fall back and resort to our old methods of dealing with things. Catch yourself when you do this and turn the situation from a negative to a positive perspective. This will help you in the Laws of Attraction in creating a life with endless Feng Shui possibilities.
