Spiritual practices and mysticism apply natural power and psychic perception for useful causes.
Esoteric spirituality recognizes that the universe consists of sentient, spiritual energy. Controlling thought can influence conscious events through methods of using natural power. In occult magic there are three ways to achieve high awareness: through understanding and initiation, psychic perception, and through the practice of magic. Psychic Perception and MagicSpiritual perception is an important aspect of occult magic; it permits the vision of the unseen world through the psyche of the soul. The methods of using spiritual forces can be obtained from psychic perception. Some phenomena that become known with spiritual perception are the invisible aspects of life. With the right practice a true spiritual power can be achieved. Magic is the ability to use spiritual power of nature; it can be attained with the understanding that psychic states and activities affect life. Practitioners of magic apply the knowledge of this natural power and invisible forces to manifest spiritual meditations into reality, with consideration that all things come around. According to the book by Scott Cunningham entitle Wikka, the first religion was shamanism. it involved sorcery and communing with spirits of nature; Shamans used alternate states of consciousness such as fasts, thirsts, self-inflicted pain, hallucinogenic substances and concentration to gain awareness of non-physical worlds. Rituals such as music, chants and dance were some of the techniques they used to enter the spiritual power. Magic is the projection of natural energies to produce needed effects. There are three sources of the energy: personal power, earth power and divine power. Wisdom of Spiritual PracticeAncient and universal spiritual practices use the potential of energy consciousness to accomplish worthy purposes. Mental and martial arts such as Qigong apply the concept of Ying-Yang, element system and energy channels to gain greater natural power. Ying Yang is considered a universal core where the balance of opposites, heat and cold, positive and negative, materiality and spirituality determine the state of nature. In the meditative state of Qigong masters, the attention of the mind peaks in a fastest, gamma state which makes possible control and use of thought energy. Thought is a current of vibration, and living beings have bio-photon emissions which enable the power of influence. The power of thought inspires perception and will, it influences actions and can envision and shape events. The ability to motivate not only subjective but objective experience is the practice of transforming thought, activities and way of life. Natural energy and consciousness of beings affect the world and can be applied with wisdom.
