Between 1979 and 1981, the Chinese Government located 30 psychically gifted children whose abilities demonstrate a new consciousness of mind over matter.

In an effort to study paranormal abilities in children, the Chinese Government conducted nationwide searches for exceptional human functioning (EHF) children, that is, those who have demonstrated extraordinary psychic talent.

Thirty children were found whose talent went beyond what was deemed normal in human capacity. These children were given training to enhance their abilities while scientists hovered over them to explore the nature of their powers.

EHF Children

One three-year-old boy was able to read and perceive color by ear. Another thirteen-year-old girl was adept at remote viewing. Another twelve-year-old was capable of psycho kinesis, literally “flying” a flower from the garden into a covered tea pot. Another girl of the same age could adjust watch time from a distance. Other children demonstrated the ability to make flowers bloom instantly through thought and concentration.

Yu Rui Ha

A girl named Yu Rui Ha was told that one person in the audience before her, which consisted of seven security men, reporters and scientists, was armed. She was then asked to identify the culprit.

Within seconds, she was able to narrow the possibility to two individuals. Then requesting that the lights be turned off, she correctly identified the person with the gun. She was also able to state exactly where the gun was situated on his body.

In another experiment, she was asked to remote view a piece of paper placed within a sealed lead tank. Within twenty minutes, she correctly described the inscription in the paper without opening the tank.

Wei Ruoyang

An eleven-year-old boy who had x-ray vision was able to locate buried pipelines under the ground.

Municipal engineers double checked Wei Ruoyang’s results against city blueprints and found them to be totally accurate.

Zhu Bao Sheng

A superstar among Chinese EHF children, Zhang Bao Sheng was able to remove pills from a sealed bottle and move shoes, keys and various objects through wooden boards and walls. On one occasion in front of several witnesses, he moved a 100 pound sack of sugar through the wall of a storehouse.

He also displayed the envied ability to dissolve traffic tickets and records from police files.

By early 1979, Chinese researchers claimed that qi gong was a catalyst for exceptional human function. Other studies have also supported the claim that many people developed psychic powers through practicing qi gong.

China’s interest in exceptional human functioning children demonstrates the growing acceptance of a new consciousness — the ability of mind to transform matter.
