Good questions. Who is willing to ask them and act upon some familiarity with the subject?
The do-gooders are so busy defining who should be head of the households, they lose site of what is the household (family). We are forming friendships and groups based on true trust and love that seems to be missing from most families today.
It is said...you can choose your friends, your family you are stuck with.

What I am experiencing with family is...they can't let go of the past. All their hurts, pains, etc. are being carefully nurtured and grow into large out of bounds thinking. Families just feel they have that right to abuse someone for past errors of causing the pain.

Right. And that's part of the dysfunction. Families aren't intended to work that way.

Families need fixing. But, so do the other institutions. We need to work on community. Things cannot continue with us being so divided as a society. It is destroying America--and--the west right along with it.

All things actually begin with ourselves. We can't make anyone else see things the way we do...on any level.
Letting go of the past and any hurts it nurtures, is the first step to growth. Forgiveness can come into it here...but even when we can't forgive, we can release the pain that is too much to deal with in the present.
