In response to Pinky - More than meets the eye posted by Migisi:

I've observed several situations where professing Christians have gone out of their way to make themselves "martyrs," and if this is what's happening, I have no sympathy for Emily.

On the other hand, I've also seen situations where professors use their position to proselytize students to their line of thinking - I encountered this MYSELF while attending George Mason University.

Obviously, I have no problem with a teacher or professor stating their convictions or laying out their reasons for holding their beliefs. If that results in persuading the students, so be it. But I do have a problem with teachers using grades, intimidation, etc. to coerce students to do certain things.

Lastly, your citation of ADF's ideology is really a non-issue. The question is whether Emily's grievance has merit or not. That's what matters. As to ADF being biased or having an agenda....so what?
